Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit Highlights Jointness and Integration at Air Warfare College

Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, serving as the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC), delivered a keynote speech to attendees of the Joint Operational Capability Assessment Programme (JOCAP) at the Air Warfare College (AWC).

In his remarks, the Air Marshal highlighted the advancements in collaboration and integration among the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. He emphasized the critical importance of a unified approach in addressing the challenges posed by the modern multi-domain battlefield.

He noted that future conflicts would increasingly require simultaneous operations across various domains such as land, air, sea, cyber, and space. Consequently, joint planning and integrated operations are vital for achieving operational success.

Air Marshal Dixit underscored the importance of coordination between services, real-time information sharing, and integrated command structures as key factors that would enhance the combat efficiency of the Indian Armed Forces.

The session at AWC was designed to introduce officers to joint operational concepts and evolving military strategies, preparing them to effectively respond to emerging security challenges.

The Air Marshal's address reiterated the ongoing initiatives by the Indian Armed Forces to bolster jointness, integration, and interoperability, ensuring they are equipped to meet the complex demands of future warfare.
