Air Force Academy Cadets, Including Foreign Trainees, Learn Logistics at Telangana & Andhra Sub Area

Thirty officer cadets from the Air Force Academy, including cadets from friendly foreign countries, took part in a joint training and orientation programme at the ASC Supply Company under Headquarters Telangana & Andhra Sub Area, where the focus was on logistics, integrated support and inter-service cooperation.

The engagement was designed to give the cadets first-hand exposure to the role logistics plays in maintaining operational readiness. Through the interaction, they were introduced to the importance of integrated logistics support and the need for seamless coordination among the Services in order to sustain military operations effectively.

The programme also highlighted how logistics support mechanisms underpin military effectiveness by ensuring the availability of necessary resources. By observing the functioning of these systems, the cadets gained a clearer understanding of the coordination required to keep operations running smoothly.

The participation of cadets from friendly foreign countries gave the programme an international dimension. It also offered the cadets a broader view of military support systems and the value of cooperation across services and, in this case, across national backgrounds during professional military training.

Beyond the logistics briefings, the interaction was intended to strengthen jointmanship among future leaders of the Armed Forces. Exposure to training in a shared setting allows officer cadets to better understand the responsibilities of different arms and services that contribute to military operations.

The engagement also fostered camaraderie among the participating cadets and provided a platform for professional interaction during their training. Such joint training initiatives are intended to build a greater appreciation of integrated approaches to operational readiness and logistics support.

At the ASC Supply Company under HQ Telangana & Andhra Sub Area, the cadets were brought together in an environment centred on logistics, coordination and professional exchange, reinforcing the bonds of jointmanship among those who will go on to serve as future leaders of the Armed Forces.
