Air Chief Marshal AP Singh Leads 2025 Training Command Conference in Bengaluru

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, the Chief of the Air Staff, led the Training Command Commanders’ Conference-2025 at the Headquarters Training Command in Bengaluru on October 23-24, 2025. This two-day meeting gathered senior commanders and key officials to discuss the evolving nature of air force training and strategies to enhance the future capabilities of the Indian Air Force.

The primary focus of the conference was on transforming and modernizing the training philosophy. The discussions emphasized the need for the training ecosystem of the IAF to align with its operational and technological progress. Key topics included the modernization of infrastructure, the integration of simulation-based learning, and the use of next-generation training tools to adequately prepare air warriors for future challenges in multi-domain warfare.

Commanders also shared insights on improving jointness and interoperability, highlighting the importance of synergy between training establishments and operational commands to enhance mission readiness.

During the conference, the Air Chief Marshal conducted a thorough review of the various training establishments under the Training Command. He praised the dedication to excellence shown by both instructors and trainees, emphasizing that training focused on operational readiness is central to the IAF’s combat preparedness.

He reiterated the crucial role of training institutions in developing future air warriors, fostering leadership, and instilling a professional ethos across all ranks.

The Air Force Academy in Dundigal was awarded the ‘Pride of Training Command’ Trophy in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the training of officer cadets and its relentless pursuit of excellence in preparing the next generation of air warriors.

In concluding the conference, the Air Chief Marshal stressed the importance of adaptive, innovative, and technology-driven training practices to meet the demands of modern warfare. He praised the leadership at Training Command for their ongoing efforts to transform the training architecture and urged all formations to remain dedicated to the IAF’s vision of maintaining a “future-ready and combat-capable” force.
