On July 4, 2026, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, PVSM, AVSM, Chief of the Air Staff, visited the Kargil War Memorial in Dras. He was accompanied by Mrs. Sarita Singh to honor the heroes of the Kargil War.
