The Passing Out Parade for the Agniveers of the Indian Army's Corps of Signals took place today at the 2 Signal Training Centre in Goa. The event was reviewed by Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, the Honourable Governor of Goa.

During the ceremony, the newly trained Agniveers were inducted as technologically adept soldiers with a focus on information warfare and communications. The Corps of Signals reiterated its dedication to equipping these recruits, referred to as "Info Warriors," with the advanced skills necessary to address modern battlefield challenges, emphasizing discipline and commitment to national service.

In his speech, the Honourable Governor praised the Agniveers for their accomplishments and highlighted the indispensable role of their families, acknowledging them as crucial supporters who help soldiers maintain the Indian Army's traditions.

The parade is part of the ongoing implementation of the Agnipath scheme, which focuses on recruiting and training youth for short-term military service, thereby creating a future-ready force.

The event included formal group photographs featuring the reviewing officer, senior military officials, and the passing-out Agniveers, all set against the ceremonial arch of the training centre.

This successful parade signifies another step forward in enhancing the Indian Army's signals and communication capabilities by integrating young, skilled individuals.
