In a solemn ceremony marking the Diamond Jubilee of the 7th Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (Special Forces), a tribute was paid to the unit's fallen soldiers at the National War Memorial in New Delhi. The event was led by Colonel Punit Aswal, Commanding Officer of 7 PARA (SF), who laid floral tributes at the Tyag Chakra in memory of the battalion’s bravehearts.

Colonel Aswal emphasized the courage, resilience, and dedication demonstrated by the battalion’s soldiers over the past sixty years, highlighting their embodiment of the spirit of the maroon beret. He reiterated the battalion's commitment to maintaining its proud traditions and serving the nation with their unwavering ethos of being “Never Out of the Fight.”

This tribute not only honored the indomitable spirit of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in service but also aimed to inspire future paratroopers to uphold the rich legacy of the unit.
