39 Gorkha Training Centre Partners with IIT (BHU) to Enhance Technological Collaboration in Military Training

In a significant development aimed at merging technology with military education, the 39 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC) in Varanasi has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT (BHU), Varanasi. This agreement marks the beginning of an enduring partnership centered on promoting innovation and technological progress in defense training.

The alliance is designed to enable joint initiatives, exchange of knowledge, and the implementation of emerging technologies to boost operational efficiency and refine Agniveer training practices.

The MoU was officially signed by Brigadier Anirban Datta, Commandant of the 39 GTC, and Professor Rajesh Kumar, Dean of Research and Development at IIT (BHU). The signing ceremony was attended by Major General A S Sohal, General Officer Commanding of the Purva UP & MP Sub Area, and Professor Amit Patra, Director of IIT (BHU).

This collaboration is anticipated to foster a harmonious interaction between military training and advanced research, driving innovation that will bolster India's defense capabilities.
