207 Field Regiment: Celebrating 50 Years of Artillery Excellence and Service
The 207 Field Regiment, a distinguished unit of the Pine Division, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of dedicated service and legacy. From its beginnings in the tea gardens of Hatigarh to its current base at Chandimandir, the Regiment exemplifies the Indian Army's artillery expertise and steadfast spirit.
The Golden Jubilee festivities highlighted the Regiment's esteemed heritage of skill, accuracy, and unwavering national commitment. Veterans and current personnel gathered to honor the generations of gunners who have consistently embodied the motto "Ready, Ever Ready."

To celebrate this significant milestone, Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding of Kharga Corps, alongside Lieutenant General Puneet Ahuja, SM, VSM, Chief of Staff of the Western Command, presented Silver Salvers to the Regiment. This act was in recognition of its exemplary service record and operational achievements over the last fifty years.
The presentation symbolized respect for the gunners of the past, present, and future, acknowledging their bravery and precision which have secured the Regiment's esteemed status within the Indian Army's artillery community.

Looking towards the future, the Regiment remains committed to its battle cry, "Do Sau Saat ZABARDAST!" — a testament to unity, bravery, and camaraderie.
The celebrations at Chandimandir honored the Regiment’s distinguished history while reaffirming its relentless dedication to operational excellence and service to the nation.
