125 Young Medical and Dental Officers Commissioned at AMC Centre and College Joining Armed Forces Medical Services
Lucknow, May 30, 2026: A ceremonial parade marking the completion of the Medical Officers Basic Course took place at the Officers Training College, AMC Centre and College. This event celebrated the commissioning of new Young Medical and Dental Officers into the Armed Forces Medical Services.
Among the newly inducted officers were 28 women, who showcased their discipline and commitment as they marched in unison, symbolizing their readiness to serve the nation.
The parade was reviewed by Lieutenant General Shivinder Singh, AVSM, the Commandant of AMC Centre and College. In his address, he congratulated the officers on completing their training and urged them to uphold the values of compassion, humility, professionalism, and dedication while serving the country.
