125 Medical and Dental Officers Commissioned into Armed Forces Medical Services at AMC Centre & College
Lucknow, May 30, 2026: A ceremonial parade to mark the completion of the Medical Officers Basic Course-257 (MOBC-257) took place at the Officers Training College, AMC Centre & College on May 30, 2026. This event celebrated the commissioning of 125 young Medical and Dental Officers into the Armed Forces Medical Services.
The group of newly commissioned officers includes 28 Lady Officers, highlighting the increasing involvement of women in military medicine and their essential contribution to enhancing the healthcare capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces.
The parade was overseen by Lt Gen Shivinder Singh, Commandant, AMC Centre & College, who addressed the officers and encouraged them to maintain high standards of compassion, humility, professionalism, and dedication while serving the nation.

The commissioning parade signified the formal induction of these newly trained doctors and dental officers into one of the country's most esteemed medical institutions.
