Uttarakhand Governor Invites Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal to Speak at Deep Tech 2030 Launch

Dehradun, October 13, 2026: Indian Army officer Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal was invited by the Governor of Uttarakhand to speak at the launch of the Deep Tech 2030 initiative, a programme centred on innovation, emerging technologies and India’s technological future.

Major Sambyal later shared details of his participation on social media platform X, where he said he was grateful for the opportunity to take part in discussions linked to the initiative. His presence at the launch placed an Indian Army officer in a forum focused on technology, youth engagement and future-facing ideas.

At the event, he also interacted with students, exchanging ideas and encouraging them to think creatively and ambitiously. He said the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the younger participants reinforced his belief that India’s next phase of innovation will be shaped by them.

“Equally inspiring was engaging with young students whose curiosity, creativity, and ambition reaffirm that India’s greatest innovation story is still being written,” he wrote.

Major Sambyal also underlined the importance of vision, innovation and collective effort in shaping the country’s future. In a message from the event, he said progress does not simply arrive on its own, but has to be built through shared action and forward-looking thinking.

“As we look towards the future, one truth remains clear: the future is not something we wait for. It is something we build through vision, innovation, and collective action,” he stated.

The launch brought together leadership, technology and student engagement in a setting aimed at encouraging deeper conversations around innovation. Major Sambyal’s participation reflected the increasing overlap between military leadership, emerging technology discussions and outreach to young people as India looks to strengthen its innovation ecosystem.

The interaction also gave students a chance to engage directly with an Army officer and hear perspectives on leadership, future-oriented thinking and the importance of contributing to national development.

Major Sambyal ended his message with “Jai Hind,” closing his post with a note of commitment to the nation’s progress and future.
