US Navy F-35C Crashes Near NAS Lemoore; Pilot Safely Ejects

An F-35C fighter jet belonging to the US Navy crashed on Wednesday evening in the vicinity of Naval Air Station Lemoore in central California. According to an official statement from the Navy, the pilot managed to safely eject from the aircraft.
The fighter jet was part of Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-125, also known as the "Rough Raiders." This squadron serves as a Fleet Replacement Squadron tasked with training Navy pilots and aircrew on operating the F-35C Lightning II, which is the Navy's most advanced stealth fighter designed for carrier operations.

The incident occurred near NAS Lemoore, which is situated about 40 miles southwest of Fresno. There have been no reports of civilian injuries or damage to property as a result of the crash.
The reasons behind the crash are still unknown. The US Navy has announced that an investigation is underway to identify the factors that led to the incident.
