UPSC Releases Official CDS 1 2025 Cut-Off Marks for IMA, INA, AFA, and OTA
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the cut-off marks for the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025. These results reveal the selection benchmarks for various defence academies, including the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA) for both male and female candidates.

As per the data released, the minimum qualifying mark in each subject is uniformly set at 20% for all academies. For the Indian Military Academy (IMA), candidates needed a minimum of 120 out of 300 in the written exam, with the aggregate minimum for the final recommendation being 243 out of 600.
For the Indian Naval Academy (INA), the threshold in the written exam was set at 104 out of 300, with the final recommended candidate having a score of 230 out of 600.
The Air Force Academy (AFA) required the highest marks in the written exam, with candidates needing at least 128 out of 300. The final recommended score for AFA was the highest among all, at 253 out of 600.
In the Officers Training Academy (OTA) for men, the minimum score in the written test was set at 81 out of 200, with the aggregate cut-off for recommendation being 163 out of 400. For women in OTA, the minimum required marks in the written exam were also 81 out of 200, with the final recommendation cut-off at 171 out of 400.
