Under Officer Sneha Hooda from Rohtak Secures Her Place in Indian Air Force Flying Branch
Under Officer Sneha Hooda, a cadet of 2 Haryana (Girls) Battalion NCC in Rohtak, has achieved a significant milestone by securing a recommendation for commissioning in the Indian Air Force's Flying (Pilot) Branch. She accomplished this through the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) entry.
A student at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) in Rohtak, Hooda successfully navigated the AFCAT examination and emerged recommended following the rigorous selection process at the No. 1 Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) in Dehradun.

As the daughter of Shri Harvir Singh Hooda, Sneha is set to undergo pre-commission training at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Hyderabad. She will be part of Course No. 220/26F/SSC(W), which begins on June 29, 2026. Upon the successful completion of this training, she will receive a Short Service Commission in the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force.
Hooda's success is the result of years of perseverance and commitment towards her ambition of serving the nation as a military aviator. The selection process for the Flying Branch is intensely competitive, demanding excellence in written tests, psychological evaluations, group tasks, and personal interviews.
