Tank Transporter Management Course Concludes at ASC Centre; Major Choudhary Honored as Best Student
The Tank Transporter Management Course held at the ASC Centre & College (ASCC&C) in Bengaluru concluded successfully on October 28, 2025, marking a significant step in advancing the logistics and mechanised transport capabilities of the Indian Army.
This course aimed to provide ASC Officers with advanced managerial and technical skills necessary for the command and control of Tank Transporter units, which are essential during wartime operations. The comprehensive training focused on the planning, execution, and maintenance of tank transportation, ensuring effective mobility support for armoured formations across various terrains and combat situations.

Lt Gen JK Gera, Commandant of ASCC&C, delivered the Valedictory Address, applauding the officers for their commitment and urging them to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness. He stressed the vital importance of Tank Transporter units in ensuring the mobility and support of mechanised forces, noting that the effectiveness of logistics plays a direct role in the success of battlefield operations.

Major Nirma Choudhary was recognized as the Best Student of the course, having demonstrated exceptional performance and leadership throughout the training.
The course reinforced the ASC Centre & College's dedication to producing officers who are professionally equipped to meet the evolving operational needs of the Indian Army's mechanised units.
