Surgeon Vice Admiral Vivek Hande Evaluates Healthcare and Medical Support at Pathankot Military Station
Surgeon Vice Admiral Vivek Hande, who serves as the Director General (Organisation and Personnel) of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), conducted an inspection of the Military Hospital and Forward Medical Stores Depot located at Pathankot Military Station. The purpose of his visit was to assess the healthcare facilities and the infrastructure supporting operational medical needs.

Admiral Hande took the opportunity to engage with patients at the hospital and expressed his admiration for the officers and staff. He acknowledged their dedicated service and professionalism, along with their ongoing commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
The Vice Admiral also recognized the significant contributions made by the hospital and depot during Operation Sindoor and in various Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) initiatives.

He praised the Commandant and the medical teams for upholding exceptional standards in healthcare services, which have received widespread appreciation from active duty personnel, veterans, and their families.

The visit underscored the vital role of the Armed Forces Medical Services in maintaining operational readiness and providing effective medical support during both military operations and humanitarian missions.
