Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, in her capacity as Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), made an official visit to the Karwar Naval Area where she met with Rear Admiral Ravnish Seth, the Admiral Superintendent, as part of her scheduled engagements.

During her visit, the DGAFMS conducted an in-depth assessment of the medical facilities at the Dockyard Dispensary, the INS Kadamba MI Room, and the Submarine Medical Centre. She received briefings on the patient care services, the medical support provided to operational units, and the preventive healthcare measures being implemented at the naval base.

While interacting with Medical Officers, Medical Assistants, PCW workers, and civilian support staff, Surg Vice Admiral Sarin commended their professionalism and dedication to maintaining high healthcare standards. She praised the teamwork across various facilities, which ensures effective medical support to naval personnel.
