State-Level Ex-Servicemen Rally Successfully Conducted at Agartala Military Station
The Albert Ekka Brigade, part of the Red Shield Division under Spear Corps, held a successful State-Level Mega Ex-Servicemen Rally at the Agartala Military Station on March 2, 2026.
With more than 1,500 veterans and Veer Naris from Tripura's eight districts in attendance, the event underscored the Indian Army's unwavering dedication to the welfare of its veteran community.

The rally was honored by the presence of Shri Indrasena Reddy Nallu, the Governor of Tripura, who attended as the Chief Guest. Distinguished military and civil officials, including Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar of Spear Corps, also participated. Veterans and Veer Naris received accolades recognizing their devoted service and sacrifices for the nation.
Various facilitation stalls were organized to cater to welfare needs, offering services such as ECHS, SPARSH pension support, Aadhaar services, banking assistance for defense veterans, and on-the-spot medical consultations with medicine distribution.

A "Know Your Army" exhibit highlighted the ethos, operational capabilities, modern equipment, and career opportunities within the Indian Army, helping to strengthen the military-civil connection and inspiring local NCC cadets and youth.
The rally concluded with cultural performances celebrating the cultural heritage of Tripura, further reinforcing the strong bond between the Armed Forces and the state's people.
