Shivneri Brigade's Counter-Terrorism Training in Pune Strengthens Army-CISF Cooperation
The Shivneri Brigade, part of the Golden Katar Division, has made a notable contribution towards enhancing military-civil relations by successfully organizing a two-week Counter-Terrorism Capsule for 100 personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). This intensive training took place at the Foreign Training and Military Civil Fusion Training Node in Pune, spanning from September 8 to 20, 2025.

The course included various operational modules such as the Army Martial Arts Training Routine (AMAR), weapon handling, Quick Reaction Team (QRT) drills, room intervention, survival training, and an introduction to the functioning of the Indian Army. The primary goal was to provide CISF personnel with essential combat skills, improve their reaction capabilities in critical situations, and enhance operational collaboration.

This training initiative is part of a broader Military-Civil Fusion program, which aims to create a more cohesive and robust administrative structure. By bolstering joint readiness, the program aspires to strengthen internal security measures, advance disaster response coordination, and support broader nation-building objectives.

Officials have emphasized that these joint training sessions enhance tactical skills while fostering a culture of cooperation and mutual trust between the armed forces and central police organizations.
