Senior Cadre Course Parade at AMC Centre & College Celebrates Havildar Ram Kumar as Best All-Round NCO

Displaying remarkable discipline and professionalism, 125 Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) from the Army Medical Corps (AMC) took part in the Course Ending Ceremonial Parade of the Senior Cadre Course at the AMC Centre & College on 20 June 2026.

This parade signified the end of a rigorous training program designed to boost the leadership, administrative, and professional skills of NCOs within the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).

Major General Anuj Chawla, serving as Commandant and Chief Instructor at the Officers Training College, reviewed the parade. He inspected the participants and offered his congratulations on their successful course completion.

In his address to the NCOs, Maj Gen Chawla lauded their dedication, professionalism, and persistence throughout the training. He urged them to continue serving with compassion and dedication, while maintaining the esteemed traditions and values of the Armed Forces Medical Services.

The Senior Cadre Course aims to enhance leadership qualities, improve professional skills, and prepare NCOs for greater responsibilities in military healthcare. A notable moment of the ceremony was the recognition of top performers. Havildar (DHYG) Ram Kumar from the Military Dental Centre, Ranikhet, was named the Best All-Round NCO of the course, praised for his exceptional performance and professionalism.
