Security Forces Successfully Neutralise Two Terrorists in Kishtwar Operation

In a significant achievement for counter-terrorism efforts, security forces have successfully neutralized two terrorists in the Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir. This operation, known as Operation Trashi-I, was conducted after receiving credible intelligence from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Intelligence Bureau, and military intelligence sources.

The operation involved the troops of CIF Delta, White Knight Corps, working in close collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The security forces initially made contact with the terrorists and re-engaged them on Wednesday around 11:00 am. Despite the challenging terrain, the joint team displayed exceptional tactical precision and coordination, effectively controlling the encounter site.

During the intense engagement, the two terrorists were successfully neutralized. A subsequent search of the area uncovered war-like supplies, including two AK-47 rifles, which confirmed the hostile intentions and operational capabilities of the neutralized terrorists.

This operation underscores the success of intelligence-driven, joint counter-terrorism initiatives and reinforces the commitment of security forces to eliminate terrorist threats and ensure peace and security in the region.
