Sapt Shakti Command's Air Defence Warriors Excel in High-Altitude Operational Drill at 14,500 ft

In the challenging environment of mountainous terrain at an elevation of 14,500 feet, the Air Defence Warriors of Sapt Shakti Command showcased remarkable precision, endurance, and mission readiness during a high-altitude operational validation exercise.

This exercise evaluated the capabilities of the “Valiant Wings” to effectively detect, engage, and neutralize aerial threats under extreme conditions, beyond the usual plains and deserts where such systems are typically deployed. The successful execution of this exercise highlighted the adaptability and readiness of the Corps of Army Air Defence (AAD) to protect India’s airspace, regardless of terrain or weather conditions.

The training was aimed at integrating tactical skill with modern technological systems to enhance airspace protection in challenging landscapes. Troops engaged in rigorous drills simulating real-time air threat scenarios, refining their ability to respond swiftly in adverse climatic conditions, including freezing temperatures and oxygen-poor high-altitude environments.

The validation exercises not only assessed the efficiency of equipment and coordination but also highlighted mental agility, team cohesion, and operational innovation, which are key components of the Indian Army’s readiness doctrine. The soldiers' display of discipline and professionalism embodied the ethos of “Unforgiving Terrain… Unwavering Resolve,” reflecting the spirit of India’s Air Defence forces.

Through these exercises, Sapt Shakti Command continues to reinforce the Indian Army’s deterrence and operational readiness, ensuring the security of the nation’s airspace anytime, anywhere, and under any conditions.
