Rear Admiral Prashant Handu Evaluates Naval Armament Depot Bheemunipatnam's Readiness and Capabilities

On March 12, 2026, Rear Admiral Prashant Handu, NM, who serves as the Assistant Chief of Naval Staff responsible for Staff Requirements, paid a visit to the Naval Armament Depot (NAD) at Bheemunipatnam. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the depot's operational preparedness and logistical capabilities.

During his time at the depot, the Flag Officer closely examined how effectively the facility could supply the necessary armaments in the required quantities and at the necessary times to fulfill the operational needs of the Indian Navy.
