Rear Admiral Happy Mohan, VSM, has taken on the role of Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor at the Indian Naval Academy (INA). With a background as an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Defence Services Staff College, Naval War College, and the National Defence College, Rear Admiral Mohan brings a wealth of expertise as a specialist in Communication and Electronic Warfare, supported by his extensive professional and academic accomplishments.

Throughout his more than 30-year tenure in the Indian Navy, the Flag Officer has been entrusted with a variety of key operational and staff roles. His service record includes significant positions at the Naval Headquarters, the Western Fleet, INS Chilka, and the Signal School. In addition, he has commanded several frontline naval vessels, acquiring substantial operational experience in various maritime capacities.

Before his current position, Rear Admiral Happy Mohan was the Commanding Officer of INS Circars, where his responsibilities encompassed crucial maritime security and operational duties.
