Rajasthan Soldier Rajendra Bagadia Killed in Jammu and Kashmir Patrol Accident

Rajendra Prasad Bagadia, a soldier hailing from Nagwa village in Rajasthan's Sikar district, has died while serving in the hilly region of Jammu and Kashmir, casting a pall of grief over the entire district. His body is expected to arrive in his hometown today, where a Tiranga Yatra will be conducted in his memory.

Bagadia was part of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and had been deployed in the Gandoh area of Jammu's Doda district. He met with a fatal accident when he slipped on a hill during a patrol mission, succumbing to the challenging conditions of the terrain. Serving with the 7th Battalion, F Company, he had been at his post for the last 18 months.

Today, Bagadia's body will be transported to the Dhod police station area and then carried to Nagwa in a Tiranga rally spanning 8 kilometers. A military funeral with full honors is scheduled to take place in his village.

Bagadia embarked on his career with the SSB in 2012. His father, Ramniwas, is engaged in farming, while his mother and wife manage the household. He is survived by two daughters and a two-year-old son. His younger brother resides abroad. The community mourns the sacrifice of this courageous soldier, who gave his life in the service of his country.
