Officer Cadets from OTA Gaya Gain Insights at Junior Leaders Academy, Bareilly
Officer Cadets from the Officers Training Academy in Gaya visited the Junior Leaders Academy in Bareilly on December 27, 2025. This visit was part of their program aimed at enhancing professional exposure and leadership skills.
During their time at the Junior Leaders Academy, the cadets gained significant understanding of the institution's critical function in training the Junior Leaders of the Armed Forces. They were introduced to the academy's teaching methods, training philosophies, and leadership development strategies designed to promote operational excellence and battlefield leadership.
The cadets had the opportunity to engage with Brigadier Gaurav Kapoor, who serves as the Commandant of JLA. Brigadier Kapoor underscored the crucial impact that Junior Leaders have on unit cohesion, decision-making, and combat effectiveness in both current and future military contexts. He pointed out that adaptable and well-trained junior leadership is essential for success in the increasingly complex and dynamic operational landscapes.
