During their time at the MLIRC, the cadets were introduced to the Maratha Light Infantry's rich heritage and operational ethos. This regiment is recognized as one of the Indian Army's esteemed infantry divisions.

The cadets engaged in informative interactions with the Commandant of MLIRC and toured key facilities, such as the Commando Wing and the Rashtriya Military School in Belgaum. These visits aimed to enhance their understanding of military training systems.
