NCC Girls Camp Successfully Held at CIJWS Vairengte for Mizoram Cadets

An NCC Girls Camp for cadets from the 20 Mizo NCC Battalion in Mizoram was held successfully at the Counter Insurgency & Jungle Warfare School (CIJWS) in Vairengte from December 2 to December 14, 2025.

Throughout the two-week camp, the cadets were immersed in a structured military routine designed to promote discipline, leadership, and physical fitness. The training regimen encompassed firing practice, basic fieldcraft, group tasks, physical training, sports competitions, and field exercises, all aimed at providing cadets with practical exposure to military life.

The participants observed firsthand the ethos, professionalism, and high standards of training at CIJWS, gaining important insights into counter-insurgency and jungle warfare techniques. This experience deeply influenced the cadets, instilling in them values of dedication, teamwork, and national service.

This camp was pivotal in empowering young women, boosting their confidence, and fostering leadership skills among the NCC cadets in Mizoram.
