Officer N. Mensham Konyak, associated with the 24th Nagaland NCC Battalion and St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, was honored at the Group Headquarters in Kohima. The ceremony, attended by his parents, recognized his remarkable achievement of securing an All India Rank (AIR) 66 in the competitive NCC Special Entry scheme. This recognition underscores his dedication and adherence to the values of discipline and service upheld by the National Cadet Corps (NCC).

The event was graced by senior NCC officers and mentors who applauded Konyak's exceptional performance. Mensham Konyak is set to join the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai. There, he will engage in rigorous training to become a commissioned officer in the Indian Army, enhancing his leadership capabilities and strategic skills for service to the nation.
