Major Mudit Gupta Leads ATC-35 Course Graduates at MCEME Secunderabad Ceremony
The Faculty of Aeronautical Engineering at MCEME, Secunderabad, hosted the closing ceremony for the Aviation Technical Course (ATC)-35 and Maintenance Conversion Flight (MCF)-35 Course on May 19, 2026.
Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney, AVSM, VSM, who serves as the Commandant of MCEME and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, delivered an address to the 22 officers graduating from the program, which included two officers from the Indian Navy.

He praised the graduates for their dedication and technical skills, emphasizing the growing significance of aerial platforms in an era of technology-driven and network-centric warfare.
Highlighting the shift in modern warfare towards precision strikes and stand-off capabilities, Lt Gen Varshney urged the officers to commit to lifelong learning, professional development, innovation, and maintaining integrity.

During the ATC-35 Course, Major Mudit Gupta was honored with the Commandant’s Gold Medal for achieving the top position in the Order of Merit. Captain Anand Jebraj earned the Commandant’s Silver Medal for taking second place and received the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Book Prize for being named the Overall Best Student.
In the MCF-35 Course, Major Mudit Gupta and Major Bishal Paul were each awarded the Commandant’s Gold Medal for excelling in the ALH and Cheetah/Chetak streams, respectively.

Among six technical projects completed during the course, the project titled “Design and Development of a 3D Printed Fixed-Wing Drone” by Major Harshita, Captain Ashish Kumar, and Captain Divyansh Joshi was recognized as the Best Project, reflecting innovation and collaborative excellence.
