Maj Gen IS Gill Assesses Operational Readiness and Infrastructure in Kumaon Sector Along LAC
Maj Gen IS Gill, who serves as the Chief of Staff for the Uttar Bharat Area, conducted a comprehensive review of operational readiness and development in forward areas within the Kumaon Sector. His assessment included strategic locations such as Dharchula, Gunji, Navidang, and Jollingkong.

Maj Gen Gill's visit focused on evaluating the operational preparedness, infrastructure development, and logistical setups in high-altitude areas positioned along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Acknowledging the harsh conditions of sub-zero temperatures and challenging terrain, he commended the troops for their 24/7 alertness and high combat readiness.

During his interaction with soldiers stationed at these remote posts, Maj Gen Gill lauded their unwavering vigilance, discipline, and determination. He emphasized that their professionalism and resilience are vital components of national security.
