Lt Gen Shekhawat Unveils OPD Facility at Ramgarh Military Station to Honor Fallen Captain
A cutting-edge Outpatient Department (OPD) block has been opened at Ramgarh Military Station in honor of the late Captain Anshuman, underscoring the Army's dedication to the health and well-being of its members.
The event featured Lieutenant General Rajan Shekhawat, General Officer Commanding, who evaluated ongoing welfare and sustainability projects at the Punjab and Sikh Regimental Centres. His review included initiatives like water harvesting systems, lake rejuvenation projects, and an updated CCTV monitoring system designed to enhance security and operational capabilities.
Lt Gen Shekhawat, recognized for his valor with the Shaurya Chakra, is renowned for climbing Mount Everest three times. His visit emphasized the importance of leadership that prioritizes both military and environmental objectives. He commended the regimental centres for their commitment to green initiatives and encouraged the troops to strive for excellence in all areas.
The inauguration of the OPD block, alongside eco-friendly projects, demonstrates the Army's commitment to improving medical services while promoting sustainable practices.
