Lt Gen RC Tiwari Reviews Training Standards and Infrastructure at Officers Training Academy Gaya
Lt Gen RC Tiwari, Army Commander of the Eastern Command, made an official visit to the Officers Training Academy in Gaya from February 5 to 6, 2026. The purpose of the visit was to assess the training standards, administrative operations, and current infrastructure developments at the academy.
Throughout his visit, the Army Commander received detailed briefings concerning various facets of officer training, the academy's administrative procedures, and infrastructure enhancements geared towards improving the training atmosphere and facilities for the cadets. He expressed his satisfaction with the progress observed and commended all ranks for upholding high training standards.

Lt Gen RC Tiwari addressed the officers and cadets, emphasizing the ethos of the Indian Army as “A Way of Life.” He stressed that military service requires attributes such as integrity, discipline, selfless commitment, and ongoing professional development. The Army Commander encouraged the cadets to aim for professional competence, moral integrity, and to become inspiring leaders capable of facing future operational challenges.
