Lt Gen RC Tiwari Commends Technological Advancements at Eastern Command's New FPV Drone Node
Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, who leads the Eastern Command, paid a visit to the recently established FPV Drone Node at the Agnirath Brigade. This visit highlights the Indian Army's dedication to technological advancement and self-reliance in defense technologies.

Lt Gen Tiwari received a briefing on the capabilities and projects underway at the node. He observed the in-house drone manufacturing facility, where soldiers engage in the design, assembly, and testing of FPV (First Person View) drones intended for operational purposes. The demonstration showcased drone training programs, which included both simulator exercises and live flight sessions, illustrating the Army's emphasis on skill enhancement and tactical innovation.
The General expressed his admiration for the innovative spirit and technical skills demonstrated by the personnel. He praised their efforts in adopting new technologies, describing it as a vital move towards bolstering India's defense capabilities through locally developed solutions.

He also encouraged the personnel to persist in integrating indigenous technologies into production activities, in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) initiative.
The creation of the FPV Drone Node at Agnirath Brigade represents a significant advancement in the modernization efforts of the Eastern Command. The initiative combines innovation, training, and practical applications to improve situational awareness, precise targeting, and adaptability on the battlefield in difficult terrains.
