Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai Evaluates Operational Readiness in Kumaon, Commends Panchshul Brigade's Efforts
Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, serving as the Deputy Chief of Army Staff responsible for Strategy, recently traveled to the Kumaon region to evaluate the operational preparedness and capability enhancements along the northern borders.
During his visit, Lt Gen Ghai examined various aspects, including operational readiness of the forward formations, the development of capabilities in high-altitude regions, and infrastructure and preparedness in sensitive border areas. He observed the operational efficiency and resilience of the Panchshul Brigade stationed in the sector.

The Army Commander took the opportunity to engage with soldiers and veterans, recognizing their dedication and professionalism. He praised the units of the Kumaon Regiment, the Kumaon Scouts, and the Naga Regiment for their steadfast vigilance and contributions to nation-building and development in border areas.

Lt Gen Ghai emphasized the determination and resilience of troops operating in the challenging mountainous terrain, highlighting their essential role in protecting the nation's borders.
