Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command, visited Bhopal Military Station and reviewed the operational readiness, technology infusion and administrative initiatives of Sudarshan Chakra Corps.

During the visit, the Army Commander also went to Headquarters PMP Sub Area, where he examined the Drone Ecosystem developed in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal. The initiative reflects the Army’s continuing effort to bring technological capabilities into its operational framework.

The review offered an overview of the drone ecosystem developed through collaboration between the military establishment and IISER Bhopal. It highlighted the role of institutional partnerships in advancing technology-related initiatives and supporting capability enhancement within the formation.

At Headquarters PMP Sub Area, Lieutenant General Pushkar also reviewed initiatives aimed at strengthening military-civil integration with the State Administration. These efforts formed part of the wider administrative and coordination initiatives assessed during the visit.
