Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar Assesses Operational Preparedness of Airawat Division
Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, the General Officer Commanding of the renowned Kharga Corps, conducted an extensive review of the operational readiness of the Airawat Division. This visit emphasized the Indian Army's ongoing commitment to operational excellence, technological advancements, and preparedness for forthcoming challenges.
During his interaction with the troops and field commanders, Lt Gen Pushkar praised the Division for its exceptional combat readiness, professionalism, and dedication to the Army's core values of service, courage, and integrity. He acknowledged the Division's successful integration of new technologies, including network-centric warfare systems, surveillance drones, and precision targeting platforms, which have enhanced situational awareness and battlefield agility.
The review included in-depth briefings on current modernization efforts, infrastructure enhancements, and tactical innovations aimed at improving combined arms coordination. Lt Gen Pushkar highlighted that modern warfare requires adaptability, technological expertise, and swift decision-making at all command levels. He encouraged all personnel to continue developing their skills, maintain top physical fitness, and keep updated with advancements in digital warfare and artificial intelligence applications.

In his address, the Corps Commander emphasized the significance of joint operations and interoperability with the Indian Air Force and other sister services to ensure integrated battle readiness.
