Lt Gen Praveen Bakshi appointed as Commandant of MCTE, Mhow
Lt Gen Praveen Bakshi, VSM, has assumed the role of Commandant at the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) in Mhow. The institution is recognized as one of the Indian Army’s leading centers for training in telecommunications, cyber, and information warfare.
On this significant occasion, Lt Gen Devendra Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, along with all ranks of the Army Training Command (ARTRAC), extended their congratulations and best wishes. They expressed confidence in Lt Gen Bakshi's leadership and vision.
In his new capacity as Commandant, Lt Gen Bakshi will guide MCTE's mission to cultivate leaders and specialists prepared for the future within the Corps of Signals and the broader Army. His focus will be on enhancing capabilities in secure communications, network-centric operations, cyber defense, and the integration of emerging technologies.
