Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Evaluates Operational Readiness in Eastern Ladakh's Tangtse Sector

Lt General Pratik Sharma, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, paid a visit to the forward posts in the Tangtse Sector of Eastern Ladakh. The purpose of this visit was to assess the troops' operational readiness and defence capabilities in this high-altitude region.

During his visit, the Army Commander received briefings on the current security dynamics and operational developments along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He praised the troops for their steadfast dedication, superior professionalism, and high level of combat readiness, acknowledging the challenging terrain and severe weather conditions they face.

Lt Gen Sharma's engagement with the soldiers significantly boosted their morale. He highlighted the necessity of maintaining operational alertness and fostering synergy across all formations to safeguard India's borders in the strategically vital Ladakh sector.
