Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Assesses Security Plans for 2026 Amarnath Yatra in Pahalgam and Chandanwari
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the Army Commander of Northern Command, conducted a visit to Pahalgam and Chandanwari to evaluate the current security landscape and operational readiness along the Southern Route in preparation for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.
Throughout his visit, the Army Commander received detailed briefings on the extensive security measures, deployment strategies, and readiness plans being implemented to ensure the pilgrimage proceeds safely and efficiently.
