Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Assesses Operational Readiness of Indian Army in Eastern Ladakh's Tagyarmale Sector
Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, serving as the Army Commander for Northern Command, conducted an evaluation of the operational readiness of Indian Army forces stationed in the Tagyarmale Sector of Eastern Ladakh, a strategically significant region along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
During his inspection of the forward areas, the Army Commander examined the operational stance, surveillance systems, logistics support, and combat readiness of units operating in this demanding high-altitude environment. He was briefed on the strategies implemented to ensure continuous vigilance and preparedness amidst the harsh weather and challenging Himalayan terrain.

Lt Gen Sharma expressed deep admiration for the troops, commending their outstanding professionalism, strong resolve, and dedicated service to national security. In discussions with soldiers stationed at forward posts, he praised their resilience, high spirits, and unwavering commitment to duty, highlighting them as embodiments of the Indian Army's unyielding spirit.
He encouraged all personnel to maintain this exceptional standard of excellence, stressing the significance of discipline, operational alertness, and teamwork in defending the nation's borders.
