Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra Reviews Hinterland Security, Readiness of White Knight Corps

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, visited Headquarters CIF Romeo to review the security situation and operational preparedness of formations and units deployed in the hinterland.

During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the prevailing security environment as well as the steps being taken to sustain a high level of readiness. The review included the surveillance architecture in place, counter-infiltration measures being implemented, and ongoing initiatives intended to strengthen the operational capabilities of deployed formations and units.

Lt Gen Mishra assessed the preparedness of troops operating in the hinterland, with a focus on their ability to respond effectively to evolving security challenges. The review placed particular emphasis on situational awareness and the need for units to remain capable of reacting swiftly to emerging threats.

Officials also outlined the surveillance mechanisms operating across the area and the measures being adopted to reinforce counter-infiltration efforts.
