Lt Gen P K Mishra Evaluates Operational Preparedness in Akhnoor with Emphasis on Counter-Infiltration Measures
Lieutenant General P K Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, who commands the White Knight Corps, conducted a visit to the Akhnoor sector alongside the General Officer Commanding of the Crossed Swords Division. The purpose was to evaluate the current operational readiness and security arrangements in place.

During their assessment, the top military officials focused on counter-infiltration strategies, the integration of advanced technology, and the overall coordination and operational efficiency in the region.
The Army's senior leadership highlighted the critical need for a strong, adaptable, and effective security framework, particularly in areas near the border that are considered sensitive.

The commanding officer recognized the commendable efforts in adopting and integrating specialized technologies into military operations, which has significantly improved surveillance capabilities, response times, and situational awareness.

This visit highlights the Indian Army's ongoing dedication to technology-driven counter-infiltration strategies and the importance of cohesive coordination among different formations to maintain peace and stability in the Jammu region.
