Lt Gen P K Mishra Evaluates Counter-Terrorism Efforts and Security Measures in Padri Gali

Lieutenant General P K Mishra, who commands the White Knight Corps, visited the Padri Gali area along with the General Officer Commanding of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) to assess the current security situation and review ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.

During this visit, the Corps Commander received a briefing on the strong intelligence network in the region, ongoing dominance activities, and effective coordination among agencies, all aimed at preserving peace and stability. He also examined the security measures in place by troops in the area to counter new threats and ensure safety for local residents.

The briefing emphasized the coordinated efforts of security forces to maintain operational effectiveness through intelligence-driven operations, patrols aimed at dominating the area, and close cooperation among various agencies.

While interacting with troops operating in the challenging terrain, Lt Gen Mishra praised their professionalism, readiness, and steadfast commitment to duty. He commended the soldiers for their high level of vigilance and effectiveness, despite the difficult weather conditions and demanding operational settings.

The Corps Commander expressed his appreciation for the troops' dedication to protecting the region and ensuring stability through sustained counter-terrorism initiatives and proactive security strategies.

Officials highlighted that the visit reinforced the Indian Army's ongoing focus on maintaining a strong security posture in the hinterland areas of Jammu and Kashmir through intelligence-led operations and continuous coordination between agencies, as well as constant operational preparedness.
