Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla Evaluates Joint Operational Preparedness at ITBP Units in Arunachal Pradesh
Lieutenant General Neeraj Shukla, the General Officer Commanding of the Gajraj Corps, conducted a visit to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) battalions located at Bhalukpong in Arunachal Pradesh. During his visit, he engaged in comprehensive discussions with senior leadership of the ITBP.
Lt Gen Shukla met with the DIG of SHQ ITBP and the Commandants of the battalions, where they deliberated on operational readiness, coordination strategies, and joint training programs aimed at enhancing border security and interoperability between forces.

Additionally, Lt Gen Shukla paid tribute at the ITBP War Memorial, acknowledging the sacrifices and commitment of ITBP personnel in protecting the nation's frontiers.
In his interactions with ITBP troops, the Corps Commander emphasized the necessity of seamless collaboration between security forces to ensure national security and contribute to nation-building efforts.

Highlighting the principles of JAI — Jointness, Aatmanirbharta, and Innovation — Lt Gen Shukla stressed the significance of a comprehensive national approach to developing a future-ready force capable of executing multi-domain operations in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The visit underscored the ongoing efforts of the Indian Army and the Indo Tibetan Border Police to enhance operational coordination, foster indigenous capabilities, and prepare integrated national security strategies in strategically vital border areas.
