Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla Assesses Readiness of Ball of Fire Division for Enhanced Operational Excellence

Lieutenant General Neeraj Shukla, the General Officer Commanding of the Gajraj Corps, undertook a visit to the Ball of Fire Division to evaluate its operational preparedness, training standards, and mission readiness.

Throughout his visit, Lt Gen Shukla engaged with the troops, inspected the training facilities, and addressed both officers and their families. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to duty among all ranks.

The Lieutenant General also visited the Army Public School in Tenga Valley. There, he interacted with students and teachers, urging them to appreciate India's rich history, languages, and cultural heritage.

Lt Gen Shukla placed emphasis on mission-driven education, promoting early talent identification, exposure to technology, understanding of village development schemes, social service, and digital literacy. He advocated for the adoption of the New Education Policy, highlighting the significance of the Indian knowledge system and Vedic mathematics in shaping responsible and future-ready citizens.

In addition, the Corps Commander engaged with members of the Central Armed Police Forces and the Border Roads Task Force. He stressed the importance of JAI—Jointness, Aatmanirbharta, and Innovation—as part of a Whole-of-Nation approach to create a force that is prepared to address evolving security challenges.

The visit underscored the Indian Army's ongoing focus on operational readiness, integrated national development, educational progress, and the enhancement of indigenous capabilities in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
