Lt Gen Mohit Malhotra Assesses Combat Preparedness at Bathinda Military Station

Lieutenant General Mohit Malhotra, the Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, conducted a visit to the Bathinda Military Station from August 4 to 6, 2026. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the operational environment and assess the combat readiness of the Indian Army within the command's jurisdiction.

Throughout the three-day visit, Lt Gen Malhotra engaged in detailed operational discussions with field commanders. These discussions centered on the changing security landscape, the state of operational readiness, and strategies for enhancing the army's combat effectiveness amid growing threats.
