Lt Gen Mishra Evaluates LoC Defense Readiness and Counter-Infiltration Measures

Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, awarded the AVSM, YSM, and SM, in his capacity as the General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, conducted an assessment of the Balnoi Sector's counter-infiltration strategies and the operational readiness of troops stationed at the Line of Control (LoC).

During his visit, Lt Gen Mishra received detailed briefings on the surveillance tactics, deployment of forces, and the preparedness levels designed to thwart infiltration attempts in this critical area. He engaged with the troops positioned at forward posts, acknowledging their high level of readiness, professionalism, and constant alertness despite challenging operational conditions.

Later, together with the GOC of the Crossed Swords Division, Lt Gen Mishra visited the forward areas of the Sunderbani Sector. This visit aimed to evaluate the security environment following the successful prevention of an infiltration attempt. The focus was on reinforcing achieved gains, bolstering the counter-terrorism grid, and maintaining operational superiority.

Lt Gen Mishra commended the troops for their strong spirit, unwavering determination, and vigilance along the LoC. He urged them to maintain their vigilance, enhance operational methods, and remain ready to counter any new threats effectively. He reinforced the White Knight Corps' commitment to protecting the Line of Control and ensuring national security.
