Lt Gen Girish Kalia Evaluates Operational Preparedness at Dao Division Near Northern Borders
Lieutenant General Girish Kalia, who commands the Spear Corps, made a visit to the Dao Division to evaluate the operational readiness and preparedness along the Northern Borders.
During his visit, the Corps Commander inspected the operational deployments and engaged with troops in forward positions. He commended the soldiers for their high morale, professionalism, and steadfast dedication to defending the nation’s borders in challenging terrain and weather conditions.

Lt Gen Kalia also paid homage to fallen soldiers at the Helmet Top Memorial in the Walong Valley, honoring their bravery, sacrifice, and service to the nation.

This visit underscored the Indian Army's ongoing commitment to maintaining robust operational preparedness and vigilance in strategically vital border regions.
