Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Praises Operational Readiness at HQ Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa Area Visit

Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, who serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, conducted a visit to the Headquarters of the Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa Area. He expressed his admiration for the formation’s outstanding operational readiness and their ongoing efforts in training, capacity building, and welfare initiatives.

During his visit, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth recognized the Area Headquarters for their initiatives in maintaining a high state of preparedness and operational efficiency throughout its expansive area of responsibility. He praised the team for their proactive stance in training, infrastructure development, and logistic support, which are crucial to enhancing the Southern Command’s overall combat capabilities.

In his address to officers and troops, the Army Commander emphasized the critical importance of adaptability, teamwork, and ongoing professional development in meeting the diverse operational mandates of the Command. He noted that evolving security challenges demand agile leadership, technical expertise, and cooperation among services to maintain operational superiority.
